Aniplus Asia Airs Persona 5: Stars and Ours Anime Special on March 23

Aniplus-Asia began streaming an English-subtitled promotional video for the PERSONA 5 the Animation: Stars and Ours anime special on Sunday. The video reveals that Aniplus-Asia will air the anime on March 23 at 10:00 p.m. GMT +8. The anime will premiere in Japan on the same day.
The first special, PERSONA 5 the Animation: Dark Sun, aired on December 30 and revealed the second special. Aniplus-Asia aired the special on January 1.
The 26-episode television anime series based on Atlus' Persona 5 role-playing game premiered last April and aired through September. Aniplus-Asia aired a simulcast of the anime in Southeast Asia.
Masashi Ishihama (From the New World, Kamichu!) directed PERSONA 5 the Animation, and the game franchise's producer Katsura Hashino is credited with the original story concept. Satomi Ishikawa (Convenience Store Boy Friends) adapted Shigenori Soejima's original game character designs for animation. Kazuma Kaneko is credited for having drawn the original demon designs from the game. Shinichi Inotsume (Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers-, Hayate the Combat Butler, Sket Dance) was in charge of the series scripts. Shoji Meguro returned from the game to compose the anime's music. Lyn performed both opening theme songs and both ending theme songs.
