Anime Expo to Host My Hero Academia Season 4 Premiere

Funimation announced on Friday that it will present the premiere of the fourth My Hero Academia anime season on July 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Anime Expo. Voice actors Kaori Nazuka (Toru Hagakure), David Matranga (Shoto Todoroki), Patrick Seitz (Endeavor), and Ricco Fajardo (Mirio Togata) will appear at the screening.

The new season based on Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia manga will debut on Japanese television in October, and Funimation will stream the season as it airs in Japan.

The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016, and then the 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017. The 25-episode third season premiered in April 2018, and Funimation also streamed the English dub of the third season. Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan. The My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film opened in Japan last August. The franchise is receiving a second film this winter.

This year's Anime Expo will take place from July 4 to 7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
