Bakugo arrives in game as DLC in August

Bandai Namco Entertainment America streamed a video at its Anime Expo panel on Friday that previews the DLC character Katsuki Bakugo for the Jump Force fighting game.

Previous DLC characters include Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Seto Kaiba, My Hero Academia's All Might, and Hunter x Hunter's Biscuit Krueger. The game will also get Dragon Ball Z's Majin Buu, Naruto's Madara Uchiha, One Piece's Trafalgar D. Water Law, and Bleach's Hitsugaya Toshiro and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez as DLC characters

The next three characters, including Bakugo, will release in August, and the last three will release at an as-yet unannounced date. The two sets of paid DLC in May and August include avatar costumes and skills along with the three DLC characters. Additionally, Bandai Namco Entertainment is releasing free updates for the game every month from April through August.

Spike Chunsoft developed the game, which launched on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on February 15 in the Americas and Europe and on February 14 in Japan.

Dragon Ball's Akira Toriyama designed some original characters for the game, and players can create their own avatar characters in the game. The game's season pass allows players to access all nine DLC characters.
