posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Games ship on November 15

The Pokémon Company began streaming a new trailer for the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Nintendo Switch role-playing games on Wednesday. The video previews the new Pokémon Galarian Weezing, Galarian Zigzagoon, Galarian Linoone, Obstagoon, and Morpeko, as well as the human characters Bede, Marnie, and Team Yell.

The games' official website also revealed the new Poké Jobs feature, which will allow Pokémon to complete jobs from in-game corporations and universities. Poké Jobs help Pokémon grow stronger, and players may also receive items as rewards. The Japanese version of the new trailer above previews Poké Jobs.

The games will ship worldwide on November 15.

The starter Pokémon in the games' new Galar region will be Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. The previously revealed new Pokémon in the games will also include Wooloo, Gossifleur, Eldegoss, Drednaw, Corviknight, and the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta. New features will include Dynamax and Max Raid Battles, and Gigantamaxing.

The Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! games, the franchise's first games for the Nintendo Switch, shipped on November 16. The games are set in the Kanto region of the first Pokémon games, and are specifically based on 1998's Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition.
