DA PUMP, Yū Serizawa perform opening, ending songs for October 5 anime

The official website for Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun, the television anime of Osamu Nishi's Mairimashita! Iruma-kun manga, revealed on Monday that male vocal group DA PUMP will perform the anime's opening song "Magical Babyrinth," while voice actress and singer Yū Serizawa will perform the ending song "Debikyū."

The anime will premiere on October 5 at 5:35 p.m. on NHK Educational, and it will have 23 episodes. Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs in Japan.

Previously revealed cast members include:

The story of Mairimashita! Iruma-kun follows Iruma, a kind-hearted 14-year-old boy whose parents sell him to demons for their own selfish interests. However, the demon he is sold to has no grandson of his own, so he dotes on Iruma and sends him to demon school.

Makoto Moriwaki (Onegai My Melody - Kuru Kuru Shuffle!, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Dai-Ni-Maku, PriPara) is directing the anime at Bandai Namco Pictures, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Princess Resurrection, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Girls' Last Tour) is in charge of series composition. Akimitsu Honma (RIN-NE, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku) is composing the music. NHK and NHK Enterprises are credited for production.

Nishi launched the manga in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2017, and Akita Shoten published the 11th compiled volume on June 7. Akita Shoten will publish the 12th volume on September 6.
