Anime Limited has announced more details of its upcoming Blu-ray Ultimate Edition of the B: The Beginning. It will be released in the U.K. and also in North America. The U.K. release will be on October 5, followed by the American release on October 6.

The edition will include a Soundtrack CD for the series composed by Yoshihiro Ike, with 21 tracks and a 52-minute run time.

It will also include three A4 sized art prints, and an A4 (landscape format) 160-page hardback art book. It will include Character Models, Props, a Background Art Gallery, key animation and interviews.

On-disc extras will include an interview with the creator and director Kazuto Nakazawa, recorded at the Scotland Loves Anime Film Festival in 2018. A test pilot film for the series will also be included.

A standard Blu-ray edition will also be available on October 5. (In America, there will be a standard Blu-ray/DVD combo set available from October 6.)

The American edition of the Ultimate Edition will be available though the Shout! Factory and Right Stuf websites.

Anime Limited summarises the series:

"The tiny city-state of Cremona has been shocked by a string of gruesome murders. As only vicious killers are being targeted, and from an enigmatic mark left at each crime scene, people call this mysterious executioner, “Killer B”. When former detective Keith Kazama Flick is called back on duty after an eight-year-long hiatus, a new team assembles at the Royal Investigation Service with the purpose of putting an end to the bloodshed.

"But Keith appears burdened by too many ghosts from his past. And as a much greater and ominous scheme starts emerging, he will need to come to terms with them all."
