Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel II. lost butterfly Released Monday

Also first volume of Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2202 and new Fairy Tail Blu-ray

On Monday July 13, MVM will release the film Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel II. lost butterfly on Collector's Blu-ray and DVD. The Collector's Blu-ray will include two artbooks, 40 pages and 54 pages, in a hardback artbox.

MVM describes the story:

"Shirou Emiya made his choice: to keep fighting, and to protect Sakura Matou. Due to the participation of Zouken Matou in the Holy Grail War, and his summoning of the Servant True Assassin, things begin to distort, steadily worsening day by day. Resolved to protect Sakura and not betray her, Shirou refuses to leave the battle. While Sakura worries about Shirou, she also finds herself entangled in her own fate as a mage. However, their fervent wishes are about be crushed by the mysterious black shadow that covers the city, killing Masters and Servants one by one…"

The film is the second in a trilogy. Tomonori Sudō (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/Zero animation director) directed the three films, and ufotable animated the work. Yuki Kajiura (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works theme song composer, Fate/Zero music and theme song composer) composed the music. Takahiro Miura is providing the storyboards. Aimer performed the first film's theme song.

Manga Entertainment will release the first volume of Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2202, carrying the first 13 episodes of the series, on Blu-ray and DVD. Manga describes the story (spoilers for Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199).

"It's been three years since the Yamato's voyage to restore Earth, and since then, a lasting peace with the Gamilans has borne fruit. Due to Earth's newly acquired technological might, humankind has begun a military expansion. However, Gatlantis, a new threat lurking far beyond our star system, will once again put humanity to the test. Responding to a mysterious plea, the Yamato and its crew must undertake one more mission for the good of their species and of the universe itself."

Both series are remakes of the 1970s Space Battleship Yamato series created by Leiji Matsumoto and Yoshinobu Nishizaki. Both Yamato 2202 and Yamato 2199 first premiered in Japan as a series of movies shown theatrically in Japan.

Manga Entertainment will release Fairy Tail Collection 3 on Blu-ray, carrying episodes 49 to 72.
