Welsh Kotatsu Festival Line-Up Confirmed

Event in Cardiff from September 25 to 26, and Aberystwyth October 1 to 3, screenings include Josee, The Tiger and the Fish, The Deer King, Hello World

The Welsh 'Kotatsu' festival will run on September 25 to 26 at Cardiff and October 1 to 3 at Aberystwyth.

The Cardiff line-up is as follows: the venue is the Chapter cinema in Canton, Cardiff.

Saturday September 25

11.00 a.m Josee, The Tiger and the Fish (pictured right), directed by Kotaro Tamura

1.40 p.m. Ride Your Wave, directed by Masaaki Yuasa

4 p.m. The Deer King, directed by Masashi Ando and Masayuki Miyaji

7.30 p.m. Hello World, directed by Tomohiko Ito

Sunday September 26

11 a.m. In Full Bloom (short film by Miho Takahashi), followed by Earwig and the Witch, directed by Goro Miyazaki

2 p.m. Lupin III THE FIRST, the CG Lupin film directed by Takashi Yamazaki

5.30 p.m. The Mark of Emi (short film by Momoka Furukawahara), followed by ON-GAKU: Our Sound, directed by Kenji Iwaisawa

The Aberystwyth line-up is as follows: the venue is the Aberystwyth Arts Centre.

Friday October 1

4 p.m. Children of the Sea (pictured left), directed by Ayumu Watanabe

7 p.m. Promare, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi
