Ani-One Streams Future GPX Cyber Formula Saga OVA on YouTube

Company began streaming Future GPX Cyber Formula Zero on October 15

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel began streaming the Future GPX Cyber Formula Saga original video anime (OVA) on Friday.

VAP describes the OVA:

After his disappointing loss in the last round of the 14th Cyber Formula World Grand Prix, which causes him the championship, Hayato Kazami decides that he needs a change and switches over to the Sugo Garland SF-03 for the 15th Cyber Formula World Grand Prix while he waits for the newest Asurada design. However, his hope to make up for the past year's letdown is made difficult when Aoi ZIP Formula undergoes a major restructuring and brings in Kyoshiro Nagumo as the new president of the team. The new car that he brought to the team, driven by newcomer Phil Fritz, is seemingly unbeatable...

Ani-One began streaming the original Future GPX Cyber Formula television anime on September 29. The channel began streaming the Future GPX Cyber Formula 11 OVA on October 8 and the Future GPX Cyber Formula Zero OVA on October 15.

Mitsuo Fukuda directed the series and is credited with the original story. Chiaki Morosawa wrote the scripts. Toshihiko Sahashi composed the music. Hajime Yatate is credited as the original creator. Sunrise and VAP produced the anime.

The original Future GPX Cyber Formula television anime aired in Japan in 1991. The anime was followed by four OVA beginning with Future GPX Cyber Formula 11 released in November 1992. Future GPX Cyber Formula Zero released in 1994, Future GPX Cyber Formula Saga in 1996, and Future GPX Cyber Formula Sin in 1998. A compilation OVA titled Future GPX Cyber Formula: Early Days Renewal debuted in 1996.
