New release from Anime Limited

Update - An earlier version of this story said wrongly that Anime Limited's Collector's Blu-ray of Burn The Witch would be released on this date. Apologies for the mistake.

Anime Limited will release a Collector's Blu-ray edition of to the abandoned Sacred Beasts, including four art cards and a 20-page art book. Vertical Comics is publishing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

During a protracted civil war that pitted the North against the South, the outnumbered Northerners used dark magic to create monsterous super-soldiers called Incarnates. Now that the war has ended, those Sacred Beasts must learn to make their way in a peaceful society, or face death at the hands of a Beast Hunter.

Nancy Schaal Bancroft, the daughter of an Incarnate, turns to hunting the hunter herself. But once she catches up with her quarry, she discovers hard truths about the lives of these Sacred Beasts.

Jun Shishido (storyboards and episode director for Yuri!!! on Ice, Death Parade, Banana Fish) made his series directorial debut with this anime at MAPPA, and Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombie Land Saga) was in charge of the series scripts. Daisuke Niinuma (episode animation director for Banana Fish, Kids on the Slope) designed the characters, and also served as the chief animation director. Takayuki Sano was credited for Incarnate design.
