Assassin's Pride and Ningen Fushin U.K. Blu-rays Released on Monday

On Monday February 26, Anime Limited will release a Collector's Blu-ray of Assassins Pride, including four art cards. MVM described the story:

"Against the savage monsters that lurk outside the glass walls of Flandore, the last remnants of humanity have only one defense: the mana magic wielded only by members of the Noble class. When Melida, heiress to House of Angel, fails to manifest her magic upon reaching majority, the half-vampire Kufa is sent with orders from her own Grandfather to resolve the issue… and if Melida cannot manifest mana, Kufa is to execute her for the crime of impure blood.

"But when Melida fails the test, Kufa can't bring himself to kill the spirited young woman whose only fault was to have an adulterous mother. And so, instead, he commits the crime of giving Melida some of his own mana. Now, bound by magic and a deadly secret, the two must work together in order to stay alive."

Kazuya Aiura (episode director on Citrus, My Sister, My Writer directed the anime at EMT Squared (The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar, Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear). Deko Akao (Amanchu!, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Noragami) was in charge of the series scripts, and Maho Yoshikawa (Amnesia, Yona of the Dawn) served as both character designer and chief animation director. Yoshiko Saitō (A Certain Magical Index III) served as sub-character designer and also chief animation director.

Crunchyroll will release Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don't Believe in Humanity Will Save the World on Blu-ray.

In the series, the veteran adventurer Nick's life is falling apart. Despite all the knowledge and expertise he's devoted to his adventuring party, his respected leader kicked him out, his girlfriend dumped him, and his teammates shamelessly accused him of embezzlement. Tired, heartbroken, and looking for a drink, Nick chances upon a few kindred spirits who are jaded as he is. Together, these disillusioned adventurers form an unstoppable team out to save their bleak, depressing world

Frontier Works was credited with the original planning for the anime. Itsuki Imazaki (Hensuki, Magical Somera-chan, Ai Mai Mi) directed the anime and oversaw the series scripts at Geek Toys with animation cooperation by Seven. Hiroo Nagao (Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!, My Wife is the Student Council President+!) was the character designer and the chief animation director. Ryō Takahashi (Arifureta - From Commonplace to World's Strongest, Sing a Bit of Harmony, Sk8 the Infinity) composed the music.

Anime Limited will release a standard Blu-ray carrying seasons one and two of Ascendance of a Bookworm.
