Sakura Con Announces More Guests of Honor

Sakura-Con: Pacific Northwest Anime Convention
April 23rd to April 25th, 2004

Sea-Tac Marriott Hotel

Sakura-Con 2004 is proud to announce several more Guests of Honor for 2004.


Hiroki Kikuta - Game Music Composer / Game Director

Since 1991, Hiroki Kikuta worked with Square Co. Ltd. and has directed and composed music for various well known video games, such as Secret of Mana series, Soukaigi, as well as many CDs. He has also worked on sound effects in Romancing SaGa.

Scott McNeil - Voice Actor

Extended: Mr. McNeil is a very prolific actor who has done voice acting in a number of anime and non-anime titles. His roles have included Captain Harlock in Galaxy Express 999, Principal Kuno in Ranma 1/2, and Duo Maxwell in GundamWing. He is currently playing the role of Lt. Fraga and GundamSEED.

Michael Dobson - Voice Actor

Extended: Mr. Dobson is a voice actor and director hailing from Canada. His roles include Dryden Fassa in Vision of Escaflowne, Kazuki Fuse in Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, and Lt. Otto in GundamWing. He is also a voice director, and has worked on Hakkenden, Ogre Slayer, and Ranma 1/2.


Akitaroh Daichi

Mr. Daichi is the creator of such successful shows as "Elf Princess Raine", "Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl", "Now and Then, Here and There", and "Carried By the Wind Tsukikaze Ran". Mr. Daichi is also known for the direction of such hits "Kodomo No Omocha (Child's Toy)", "Akazukin Cha Cha (Little Red Riding Hood Cha Cha)", Nurse Angel Ririka", and "Fruits Basket". He is currently now working on directing "Jubei-chan 2". This will be Mr. Daichi's first trip to the Pacific Northwest!

ANCEA is a Washington State and Federal non-profit organization whose purpose is to encourage the appreciation of Asian Culture through Japanese Animation and Comics. Founded in 1999 in Washington, the group is responsible for coordinating Sakura-Con convention held in the Greater Seattle Area.
