Sakura-Con: Pacific Northwest Anime Convention

Sakura-Con 2004 is proud to announce several more Guests of Honor for 2004, including Jpop singer hiro!

hiro is a popular jpop singer from Japan. Former member of the music group SPEED. When she was only 11 years old hiro made her first solo debut with the song SOUTHPAW which appears on the AVEX tribute album DANCE WITH YOU. hiro is one of the top selling music artists in Japan, and is coming to
Sakura-Con courtesy of AVEX.

Sakura Con is pleased to welcome back Fred Gallagher, the main creative force behind Megatokyo. In addition to his
printed works, available from Dark Horse Comics, Fred's work can be seen on his two websites, www.Megatokyo.com and www.fredart.com.

Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins are the writer and artist duo for the popular online comic strip Penny Arcade. Taking on the personas of Gabe and Tycho, they provide a humorous look at the lives of video gamers. The impact of their strip is pronounced, and they have turned their website into one of the premier sources for video game news.

Eric Sherman - ADR Director
Mr. Sherman has worked extensively in English voiceover direction and productions. His credits include working on popular titles such as Vandread, X TV, Sakura Wars: The Movie, Argento Soma, Heat Guy J, Please Teacher!, and Ai Yori Aoshi. He is the lead ADR Director for Bang Zoom! Entertainment.

Kaeko Sakamoto - Voice Director/Actor
Ms. Sakamoto has worked as a producer for a number of English language dubs, including Vandread, Arc the Lad, Rurouni Kenshin, Mahoromatic - Automatic Maiden, and Heat Guy J. She has done voice direction for Ai Yori Aoshi and Cardcaptor Sakura movie 2. She also provided the dubover voice for Mokona in the Magic Knight Rayearth TV series.

ANCEA is a Washington State and Federal non-profit organization whose purpose is to encourage the appreciation of Asian Culture through Japanese Animation and Comics.
Founded in 1999 in Washington, the group is responsible for coordinating Sakura-Con, a convention held in the Greater
Seattle Area.
