G4TECHTV JUMPS INTO THE FUTURE WITH
ALL NEW SERIES FOR ANIME UNLEASHED

R.O.D-THE TV-, Gungrave Airs Nightly, 12:00-1:00AM ET/9:00-10:00PM PT

Gad Guard Premieres November 8, 12:00-1:00AM ET/9:00-10:00PM PT


LOS ANGELES, October 20, 2004 – Answering the call of die hard fans across the country, G4TechTV is jumping into the future with three new adventure-filled anime series. Broadcast for the first time in the U.S., R.O.D-THE TV-, Gungrave and Gad Guard are part of the network's edgy late night block, Anime Unleashed. R.O.D-THE TV- and Gungrave will air throughout the month of October, Monday through Sunday, at 12:00AM ET/9:00PM PT. Action-packed episodes of Gad Guard will air every night at 12:00AM ET/9:00PM PT beginning Monday, November 8.

“Anime Unleashed is an ongoing destination for the extensive anime fan base,” commented Peter Green, Senior Vice President of Programming & Production for G4TechTV. “These three new titles are surrounded with buzz and excitement and by bringing them to the late night block, G4TechTV is making a major commitment to the fans.”

Kicking off the block, R.O.D-THE TV- follows the adventures of three papermasters with the ability to manipulate paper into wild weapons and magical objects. Gungrave is filled with revenge and redemption as a life of crime leads the main character, Brandon Heat, to a dark and uncertain future, while Gad Guard, a fast-paced series full of mecha carnage and destruction, focuses on a young boy-turned-superhero fighting injustice in a post-apocalyptic future.

Additional episodes of R.O.D-THE TV-, Gungrave and Gad Guard will air on G4TechTV in 2005.
