Click! Network To Launch Anime Network As SVOD Offering In December

HOUSTON, Texas – November 11, 2004 – Anime Network, the first channel in North America dedicated to anime, and one of the top performing video on demand (VOD) networks in the U.S., will expand its reach within the Seattle-Tacoma region when it launches this winter on Click! Network. The announcement was made today by Kevin Corcoran, President, Anime Network and Cyndi Wikstrom, Marketing & Business Operations Director of Click! Network.

Anime Network programming will be offered on Click! Network for $2.99 per month. Shows include such fan favorites as “Chobits,” “Azumanga Daioh,” “Peacemaker,” “Chrono Crusade,” “Full Metal Panic!,” “Noir,” “Neon Genesis Evangelion,” “Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040,” “Mezzo,” “Samurai X,” “Robotech,” “Gravion,” “Kaleidostar,” “RahXephon,” “Excel Saga,” “Battle of the Planets,” “Final Fantasy: Unlimited,” “Aquarian Age” and more.

We also noticed a gap in programming for young adults and The Anime Network not only fills that niche but we hope will also attract new subscribers to our service,” said Wikstrom. “Click! Network continues to offer our customers the latest technologies and the best programming available and we're thrilled to have The Anime Network be part of our SVOD service.”
