BURBANK, CA (December 16, 2004) — On Saturday, December 11, Kids WB's 4th Annual “Holiday Sock Party” – hosted by everyone's favorite tube sock! – brought lots of holiday cheer and season highs in Kids 2-11 (2.7/12), Kids 6-11 (3.5/15), Girls 2-11 (2.0/9) and Girls 6-11(2.2/11), and led the network to dominate all competition in Male Tweens 9-14 (3.8/18), tying with Nickelodeon (3.8/18). Kids WB ranked as the #1 broadcaster in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 (3.4/14), Boys 6-11 (4.5/18), Girls 2-11 (2.0/9), Girls 6-11 (2.2/11) and Tweens 9-14 (2.5/13). Among Kids 2-11, the network outperformed CBS (1.5/7), Fox Box (1.5/6), ABC Kids (1.4/6) and NBC (0.6/3). Among Kids 6-11, Kids WB outranked ABC Kids (1.6/7), Fox Box (1.5/7), CBS (0.9/4) and NBC (0.6/2).

Pokémon - Advanced Challenge (10:00 a.m. ET) posted season highs with impressive week-to-week double- and triple-digit ratings/shares increases in Kids 2-11 (3.8/14, +81%/+75%), Kids 6-11 (4.7/18, +74%/+64%), Girls 2-11 (3.1/12, +138%/+140%) and Girls 6-11 (3.7/15, +118%/+114%), as well as significant double-digit gains in Boys 2-11 (4.4/15, +52%/+36%), Boys 6-11 (5.7/21, +54%/+50%), Tweens 9-14 (3.5/23, +17%/+23%) and Male Tweens 9-14 (5.0/21, +11%/11%). The animé-adventure boosted the network by taking the #1 program spot among all competition in Male Tweens 9-14 (5.0/21) and the #1 broadcast spot in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 6-11, Girls 2-11, Girls 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Waking The Dragons, in its 11:00 a.m. ET airing, also delivered season highs with strong double-digit week-to-week gains in Kids 2-11 (3.6/14, +57%/+40%), Girls 2-11 (2.6/11, +73%/+57%) and Girls 6-11 (2.4/11, +26%/+22%), with additional double-digit growth in Kids 6-11 (4.1/17, +46%/+31%), Boys 2-11 (4.5/16, +53%/+33%) and Boys 6-11 (5.7/21, +58%/+31%). The animé-hit dueled the competition to rank as the #1 broadcast program among Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11, tying Pokémon - Advanced Challenge. The series also ranked as the #2 broadcast series, only behind Pokémon - Advanced Challenge, in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 (3.0/14), and ranked #3 among all competition in Male Tweens 9-14 (4.6/19).

In its 11:30 a.m. ET airing, Yu-Gi-Oh! Waking The Dragons scored season highs with double-digit week-to-week growth in Kids 2-11 (3.2/13, +52%/30%), Kids 6-11 (3.8/17, +46%/+31%), Boys 2-11 (4.1/16, +41%/33%), Boys 6-11 (5.2/21, +41%/+24%), Girls 2-11 (2.2/10, +69%/+43%) and Girls 6-11 (2.3/11, +53%/+38%). The series took the #2 broadcast spot in Girls 2-11, tying CBS' “Dora The Explorer,” #3 in Kids 2-11, tying The Batman (3.2/12), Boys 2-11, Boys 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 (2.8/14), tying with Xiaolin Showdown, #4 in Kids 6-11 and the #5 spot among all competition in Male Tweens 9-14 (4.4/20), tying with Xiaolin Showdown (4.4/19).

Additional Kids WB Saturday morning highlights include:

• Action-comedy-adventure Xiaolin Showdown (9:30 a.m. ET) outperformed the broadcast competition to rank #3 in Kids 6-11 (3.9/15), Girls 6-11 (2.7/12), tying The Batman and ABC Kids' “Lizzie McGuire” (2.7/13) and “Phil of the Future,” and Tweens 9-14 (2.8/14), and #4 in Boys 2-11 (3.8/14), tying The Batman, and Boys 6-11 (4.9/18). The series ranked #5 among the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.1/12) and Girls 2-11 (2.4/10), tying ABC Kids' “That's So Raven,” and finished #5 over all competition in Male Tweens 9-14 (4.4/19). Xiaolin Showdown also posted significant double-digit week-to-week ratings/shares increases in Kids 2-11 (+24%/+20%), Kids 6-11 (+26%/+15%), Girls 2-11 (+60%/+67%) and Girls 6-11 (+59%/+71%).

• The Batman (10:30 a.m. ET) delivered significant double-digit week-to-week ratings/share gains among Kids 2-11 (3.2/12, +68%/+50%), Kids 6-11 (3.6/14, +57%/+40%), Boys 2-11 (3.8/14, +46%/+40%), Boys 6-11 (4.5/17, +36%/+31%), Tweens 9-14 (2.5/11, +14%/+10%), and posted season highs with triple-digit week-to-week growth among Girls 2-11 (2.5/10, +127%/+100%) and Girls 6-11 (2.7/12, +108%/+140%). The Dark Knight captured the competition to rank among the top 5 broadcast series in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11, Boys 6-11, Girls 2-11, Girls 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and among the top 10 broadcast and cable program spots in Male Tweens 9-14.
