Speed Racer Drives Into Champ Car World Series 2006 Season

New York, NY (April 8, 2006) - New York City-based toy manufacturer Art
Asylum,
Inc. announced today that they are teaming up with Indianapolis-based
Mi-Jack
Conquest Racing to debut the Speed Racer-themed car in the Champ Car
World
Series 2006 Season at the 32nd Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach,
April
8th - 9th. The #27 Speed Racer (Lola), driven by Canadian Andrew Ranger
and the
#34 Speed Racer (Lola) driven by Charles Zwolsman, will be a first for
the Speed
Racer property, which is celebrating its' 40th Anniversary this year.

Speed Racer Enterprises and Art Asylum have created a unique product
line based
on of the classic Speed Racer animated television property including
toys,
collectibles, animated promos, and music, which will rollout beginning
June
2006. Art Asylum will create animated promos that will be launched this
summer,
followed by DVD's that will be packaged with the new toy line hitting
retail
stores in the fall of 2006. Additionally, a follow-up soundtrack will
hit
stores in the fourth quarter of 2006, with all new music from some of
today's
hottest artists.

Ranger, who is considered one of the sport's most gifted young drivers
today,
will appear in the new Speed Racer animated promos as well as his
teammate,
Charles Zwolsman, the 2005 Atlantic Series Champion.

"I saw a great opportunity for this team and the sport," said Ted
Dobrzynski,
Director of Operations for F1Play Inc., who introduced Art Asylum to
Mi-Jack
Conquest Racing. "It was just such a natural fit to have the beloved
Speed
Racer property participate in the Champ Car World Series," said
Dobrzynski. "We
look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Art
Asylum."

In addition to Mi-Jack Conquest Racing and F1Play, Inc., Art Asylum has
brought
on board a myriad of new partners in order to facilitate the new brand
strategy
under Art Asylum Productions, LLC. They include Jeff Nodleman and
Creative Group
for animation promo production, Joseph "Tramp" Daly and Newton Cohen to
oversee
the music and production efforts, Stone America Licensing and
International
Truck and Engine Corporation for new vehicle incorporation, Casey Lau
and his
company, Hyperchild for character development and online strategies,
Urban
Youth Racing School, and NBA star and Philadelphia 76er Samuel
Dalembert and
his manager, Teddy Pendergrass Jr., as lead investors into the project
via
their company, Synergy Enterprises, LLC.
