addition of Monkey Punch (Kazuhiko Kato) and Yasuyuki Ueda as Guests of
Honor.
Monkey Punch is the creator and manga-ka for the highly successful
Lupin
III series. This is his second appearance at AnimeFest. He will once
again share his immense experience in digital manga and anime with
North
American fans.
Yasuyuki Ueda is a highly renowned anime producer of titles which
include Haibane Renmei, Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze, and
NieA_7.

AnimeFest held it's first convention in October of 1992 and is the

longest running anime convention. AnimeFest is a non-profit
organization dedicated to arts education through anime, manga, music
