May 14, 2007 (Las Vegas, NV) – One-man music machine Hara Tomonobu brings his upbeat, heartfelt melodies to JapanFiles.com this week with his musical creation "sugarfields." Nine albums are now available for download through JapanFiles.com, marking the single largest debut contribution by a single artist in the website's history.
Hara Tomonobu bought his first 4 track recorder an as a second year junior-high school student and immediately began making music. After studying art and music in college, he formed his own musical one-man unit in 1995 called sugarfields.
sugarfields was a part of the exploding Osaka alternative music scene which included bands like Shonen Knife and the boredoms. After gaining popularity through various cassette releases, sugarfields was signed by the major label Pony Canyon in 1998 and later Hara Tomonobu formed his own record label Café Au.
