Otaku University Inc. Announces Date and Price Changes for the Conference
Phoenix, Arizona – August 29, 2007 Otaku University Inc. has decided to cut Friday, September the 29th from their conference. In wake of the change, it has been decided that all educational programming will start promptly at 9:00AM and run through 6:00 PM on both Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th. Additional night programming will be announced in the near future.
“In order to better accommodate our programming, keynote speakers, and attendees, the Otaku University Conference will be packing all of its programming into two full days… This will also make it easier for students who can't afford to miss classes during the week.” – Executive Director Lauren Sefchik
To reflect the number of days, the price for registration has been dropped to $40 for those who pre-register and $45 at the door in order to make it more affordable for attendees this first year. Pre-registration ends on Saturday, September 21, at midnight Arizona time. The Marriott Hotel discount rate has been extended through Thursday, September 6th at midnight.
Otaku University is in the process of assembling the many professor biographies and class descriptions to announce on their webpage at the start of September along with links to their newest sponsors: e frontier, U-Tretch, Sushi Eye, the Free Arts of Arizona, the Anari Martial Arts Dojo, Asian American Media and Whey Up.
