GDH Announces Gonzo Rosso Malaysia's Cetification by the Malaysian Government as an MSC Malaysia Status Company

GDH K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinichirō Ishikawa, Securities Code: TSE Mothers 3755, hereinafter GDH) has announced that GONZO ROSSO(M) Sdn. Bhd. (Head Office: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, CEO: Chin Chee Seong, hereinafter Gonzo Rosso Malaysia) has acquired an MSC status. Gonzo Rosso Malaysia is a subsidiary of GONZO Rosso K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Managing Director: Hideki Moriya, hereinafter GONZO Rosso) which is a GDH group company focused on the online game business.

Gonzo Rosso Malaysia has been certified by the Malaysian government as an MSC Malaysia status company. Malaysia is currently implementing a national project "Multimedia Super Corridor" (hereinafter MSC) designed to promote the growth of the domestic information and communication technology (ICT) industry and establish Malaysia as a global ICT/multimedia hub. The designated multimedia areas are equipped with the latest telecommunications equipment and technologies and have already attracted numerous leading ICT companies from over the world who saw the strong potential in the strategic business environment and the extensive human resources offered by MSC.

MSC Malaysia status is awarded to companies that meet a certain qualifying criteria and provides a set of incentives and benefits such as tax exemption, allowing Gonzo Rosso Malaysia to re-invest the profits earned from these benefits in further project development. Leveraging on the advantages that the status provides, Gonzo Rosso Malaysia will actively promote the online gaming business in Malaysia.

MSC Malaysia status is a status presented by the Malaysian government to businesses operating in the MSC Malaysia area that meet a certain set of conditions.
