BOST Partners with GDH/GONZO for Simultaneous, Worldwide Release of New Anime Titles

Partnership Brings Unprecedented Access to Anime for International Fans

(TOKYO, Japan – 21st March, 2008) BOST Digital Entertainment today announced its strategic partnership with GDH K.K. to release two new Japanese Animation (anime) titles produced by GDH's main production subsidiary GONZO K.K. – The Tower of Druaga –the Aegis of URUK- and BLASSREITER, for streaming worldwide*, on the same day as the Japanese TV broadcast.

Up until now, fans outside of Japan had to wait until titles were licensed and localised in their respective countries to enjoy anime. By streaming video globally and simultaneously with the Japanese broadcast, BOST aims to offer equal availability of fresh content to all viewers around the world in a speedy manner –direct from the source.

“It's a great honour for BOST to be chosen by GDH to participate in this revolutionary moment in anime history. This is a big step forward in our goal of worldwide, simultaneous anime distribution.” commented Chou-Chun Fan, Chief Executive Officer of BOST Digital Entertainment.

“We understand the global nature of the anime market, and with this new partnership with GDH, BOST can continue to provide premium anime content that will engage international audiences.” stated Aaron Lai, President of BOST Digital Entertainment.

* Excludes the country of Japan

[About The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk-]

Drawing its inspiration from the hugely popular 1980s arcade games of the same name, The Tower of Druaga is a fantasy epic that seldom takes itself too seriously! A cast of oddball characters set out on an epic quest in a finely tuned parody of videogame clichés that's guaranteed to put a grin on any gamer's face.

[About BLASSREITER]

Only one man stands against the tide of destruction that is unleashed when there is an outbreak of “demonic blood,” which transforms humans into demons bent on violence and destruction. Joseph Jobson is able to control his cursed demonic form, and he must hunt down the man who cursed him and save the world from apocalypse. With stunning visuals, epic battles, and a dark, mature storyline, BLASSREITER sets the standard for the next generation of animation.
