DJ Asu Takes J-Pop to the Next Level
TenBu Productions announced Thursday April 24, 2008 that DJ ASU will be guest Local DC radio station 88.3 WPFW.
DJ ASU, known for his creation of the nation's first Asian Pop Music radio mix show, the “DJ ASU A-POP MIX SHOW” on Otaku Life Radio, takes A-pop music to the next level and introduces it to America's mainstream.
On April 24 DJ ASU will be featured on Washington DC's 88.3 radio show “Da Cipher”. Da Cipher is a local radio show that features underground and classic hip hop favorites. DJ ASU was asked to be a guest DJ on this weeks show on April 24 at 10PM EST. During his set DJ ASU will be incorporating Asian Hip Hop and other styles of Asian Pop Music into his mix of Western Hip Hop hits.
As a promoter of Asian Pop music and a major fan of underground Hip Hop, DJ ASU knows that fans of this music are always looking for something fresh and new and is taking this opportunity to introduce a new crowd to the Asian brand of music.
DJ ASU already features Asian pop music in his regular DJ sets at local clubs, parties and shows. His live sets incorporate hits from top Asian artists and Anime Soundtracks blended in between top US hits.
