One of the Fastest Growing Sub-sectors - Interactive & Digital Media

Interactive & Digital media – which includes video games, animation, online/mobile media and new forms of digital entertainment – has skyrocketed into a multi-billion dollar business. The global videogames industry is expected to swell from US$53.9 billion in 2009 to US$68.3 billion by 2012, with Asia registering the fastest growth, according to the PriceWaterhouse Coopers' Global Entertainment & Media Outlook. The animation industry is estimated at US$160 billion as at 2008.

The rapid advancement of technology has made computer animation available to the masses and the animation industry is one of the fastest growing industries. The opportunities that the field of animation provides - creatively, technologically, and economically - are crucial for a young production industry such as the one in Singapore. We believe this conference will catalyse both production and consumption levels in the animation industry.

Student tickets are now available at $180 (does not include Networking Dinner).
