Becca's U.S. Debut CD Alive!! to Drop on March 2, 2010

Originally hailing from Portland, OR Becca has already made a mark on the international music charts and now she is gearing up to do the same in the U.S. as she gets up for the release for her U.S. debut CD ALIVE!! to hit the streets on March 2 of 2010 at all digital and retail outlets on SonyMusic Independent Network. By playing pure and simple rock & roll without making an explicit issue of her gender, 20 year old Becca is eager to bring her original brand of music to the masses, loud and stripped-down, yet filled with overpowering pop-rock hooks. Becca is equally adept at belting out fierce, female empowering rock tracks as she is exploding with passion filled ballads. Ready to carve her own niche with melodic blasts on songs like “I'm ALIVE!,” her vow to live life to the fullest in the wake of the premature death of a friend, and “Turn Up the Stereo,” a cautionary tale to her peers about the dead-end offered by non-stop partying as well as songs examining personal relationships, such as “Turn to Stone,” “Lose You Now” and “Perfect Me,” the expressions of an artist who has already lived a life beyond her years.

ALIVE!! is co-written and produced by singer-songwriter Meredith Brooks who had hits herself with such songs as “Bitch” and “What Would Happen.”
