“Tokyo Tower” Partners with Leading Japanese Broadcaster for Global Event

Tokyo Tower, a prominent online American Japanese rock and pop music show, has today announced a partnership with Tokyo FM – a leading Japanese broadcaster – for a global concert initiative designed to bring awareness to Earth consciousness and environmental responsibilities. Tokyo Tower's broadcast of this celebration of music and nature, Tokyo FM's 21st Annual Tokyo FM Earth Day Concert, will take place Wednesday, June 16th at 9 PM ET at WAWL.org
The 21st Annual Tokyo FM Earth Day Concert, recorded earlier this year by Tokyo FM, is being broadcast by leading stations around the world. Broadcast by media outlets in China, Great Britain, Canada, France, Australia, and more, the 21st Annual Tokyo FM Earth Day Concert provides listeners with a one-of-a-kind musical experience while raising awareness about key environmental issues. As part of the concert's environmental focus, the concert will also feature pro-Earth messages for the ambassadors of partner countries.
The musical lineup for the concert – emanating from the world-renowned Nippon Budokan – features flagship Asian acts like Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, a prominent ska band in Japan recognized worldwide for their unique and high quality performance, the talented Masayoshi Yamazaki, the internationally popular all-girl group AKB48, and Amin, a Chinese singer well-known for her collaborations with popular Japanese acts.
