IN LOS ANGELES JANUARY 22-23, 2011

Weekend Event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center


El Segundo, CA (December 15, 2010) –
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (Konami) is opening the doors of the Los Angeles Convention Center to the Dueling community for a Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) weekend-long Events Extravaganza that is open to the public, beginning January 22, with registration starting promptly at 9 a.m.

With Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG activities for every skill level, players can spend their entire weekend Dueling in hopes of winning cool Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG prizes. Konami's popular Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG weekend activities include Tin Challenges, ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!!, Win-A-Mat, Pegasus Challenge, Dragon Duel, Go for the Gold, and an event for the video game crowd – the World Championship 2010 Nintendo DS Tournament, utilizing Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010 Reverse of Arcadia. In addition, Konami will be awarding an event exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Extravaganza Game Mat as a door prize throughout the weekend.

Other Duelists who are more advanced will look to outlast and outplay their peers in the Regional Qualifiers and earn an invitation to their respective 2011 World Championship Qualifier events, to be held next year.
