San Francisco, Calif. – Crunchyroll, Inc., announced today the streaming rights simulcast acquisition of GOSICK from publisher-producer Kadokawa. More information is available at http://www.Crunchyroll.com/Gosick.

Crunchyroll's Japan office President Vincent Shortino said: “GOSICK is one of the most anticipated titles of the new year, and we are excited to be a part of its international release. In terms of animation quality and storytelling, this looks to be one of the winter's best titles. We look forward to its success.”

GOSICK will be available on Crunchyroll for both subscription-based streaming and free ad-supported streaming in North and South America, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, the Middle East, Africa, Brazil and Portugal, and for subscription-based streaming in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Due to licensing restrictions, GOSICK will only be available in the United Kingdom and Ireland until June 30, 2011. Crunchyroll makes every effort to negotiate as many territories and rights as possible on behalf of its users, but final decisions impacting the terms and conditions are made by various third-parties and are dependent upon a wide range of factors outside of Crunchyroll's control.
