SpringFestNY 2012 Opens Registration to Artists and Panelists

NYC Area's Largest Free Convention Seeks Artists & Panel Hosts

BROOKLYN, New York (January 25, 2012) – The largest free anime convention in the New York City / Tri-State Area, SpringFestNY, is seeking talented artists for its Artist Alley, vendors for its Dealers Room and volunteers to help deliver an exciting convention experience. This year's convention is Saturday, March 10, 2012 and is being hosted in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU.

"At SpringFest we want to promote everyone's passion for anime, manga, video games, cosplay, or anything else you may find cool", stated PAS President Adam Edwards, "We want people who have never hosted a panel in their life to come and spread their passion to all of our friends at SpringFest. We want artists who have never met the people they draw, write, or compose for. We want vendors who may not know what SpringFest is."

If you've ever had an idea for a panel at a convention, now is the time to act! No prior panel hosting experience is required. Those interested can submit their panels at springfestny.com/information/volunteer/panel-volunteer-form.

Vendor and Artist registration has already begun. The cost of a single table for artists is $15. Vendors have the option of registering for either a single table or a double table at $20 and $35 respectively. Registration is available on SpringFestNY's website at springfestny.com/information/vendorartist-sign-up-form/.
