Voice Actress and Singer Mai Aizawa to Entertain Fans at FanimeCon

San Jose, CA (May 8th, 2012) – FanimeCon is pleased to announce Mai Aizawa as the opening act for MusicFest at FanimeCon, taking place during Memorial Day weekend, May 25‑28 in downtown San Jose, CA.

A voice actress with Aoni Production, Mai Aizawa has been voice acting for anime since 2004 and has worked on numerous anime franchises, video games, and musical productions. Aizawa has maintained a busy schedule appearing on shows like Lucky Star, Air, Clannad, Rosario + Vampire, and Mirai Nikki. Her most notable roles come from playing Natsumi Murakami in the video game animation Mahō Sensei Negima! and the recently aired Nichijou where she played the role of Mio Naganohara.

Aizawa has also worked on a number of video games franchises including Harvest Moon, Suikoden, Super Robot Wars, and the Yakuza series. Her list of credits goes even further with a number of songs in drama and music CDs tied to shows like Clannad and Lucky Star. She will be performing her newly released single, the Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan opening "Kimi ni Todoke," during MusicFest.
