Atlus to Exhibit Persona 4 Arena Playables at Evo 2012

All paid KOF XIII tourney entrants will receive exclusive Mai Shiranui T-shirts!

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- JULY 5, 2012 -- ATLUS, a brand of Index Digital Media, Inc., today announced that it will formally exhibit at the upcoming Evo 2012 tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to celebrating the official Evo debut of THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII™, last year's Best Fighting Game according to GameSpot.com, ATLUS will feature multiple playables of its upcoming fighting game Persona®4 Arena™, a spin-off of the acclaimed Persona series of RPGs and an unprecedented collaboration between ATLUS' internal studio and genre masters Arc System Works.

The publisher confirmed that it will distribute extremely rare Evo-exclusive Mai Shiranui T-shirts to registered participants in the KOF XIII tournament. Entrants need only visit the ATLUS booth with valid ID to receive a T-shirt in the size they indicated during registration.

"We are incredibly excited to be able to participate in this year's Evo Championship Series," commented Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales at ATLUS. "Our presence will help us present the upcoming Persona 4 Arena to the fighting community, and will also serve as a celebration of THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII and its success. The support we received from the community during our launch of KOF XIII was nothing short of overwhelming, and it's support that continues to this day. Rewarding that dedication is the reason we are offering Evo-exclusive Mai Shiranui T-shirts for attendees who participate in the KOF XIII tournament. It's our small way of saying thanks for letting us be a part of the community and for everything fans have done to help promote the game."

ATLUS also expressed special thanks to Mad Catz, who graciously customized their quality fight sticks just for Evo. For more information about Mad Catz and their offering of premium controllers and peripherals, please visit http://www.madcatz.com.

Persona 4 Arena is scheduled to release in North America on August 7th for Xbox 360 and PS3 systems. A pre-order bonus music CD will also be provided to fans who reserve at participating retailers while supplies last. For more information, visit http://www.atlus.com/p4arena.
