Anime Blast Chattanooga Introduces Third Round of Guests

Special VIP event announced.

CHATTANOOGA, TN - September 6, 2012 - Anime Blast Chattanooga gladly welcomes several new guests for 2012! Brittney Karbowski, Aaron Dismuke, Catherine Jones and My Parent's Favorite Music will be with us in Chattanooga, TN November 9th-11th to join attendees and fellow guests for the weekend at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Just as exciting for us, this will be Brittney Karbowski and Aaron Dismuke's first time at a Tennessee convention.

A special VIP reception has also been added to the line-up of bonuses for VIP attendees. VIPs will now have the opportunity to mingle and snack with Anime Blast's guests such as those mentioned above! In addition to announcing more guests, Anime Blast would like to remind everyone that their room rate of $89 a night, at the Chattanooga Marriott at the Convention Center, is available for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night for the weekend of the convention. However, this rate is only available for a limited time. To receive the special room rate, reserve a room on or before Friday, October 19th, 2012 with the Chattanooga Marriott at the Convention Center. BRITTNEY KARBOWSKI
Britney Karbowski is an actress and voice actress who's done work since 2005 for ADV Films/Seraphim Digital and FUNimation Entertainment.

In her career she's voiced many notable roles including: Yuri Nakamura (Angel Beats!), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Selim Bradley/Pride), Black Star (Soul Eater), Ayu Tsukimiya (Kanon), Ryou Fujibayashi (Clannad/Clannad After Story), Manami Kinjou (Cat Planet Cuties), Ingrid Bernstein (Freezing), Kanon Nakagawa (The World God Only Knows), Hikari (Sekirei), Ikaros (Heaven's Lost Property), and ARISA Maresato (Highschool of the Dead) just to name a few!

AARON DISMUKE
Aaron Mitchell Dismuke (born October 13, 1992, in Tarrant County, Texas) is an American

voice actor who has made a name for himself voicing many wonderful roles in anime titles released by FUNimation.

Aaron began voice acting at nine years old, voicing Hiro Sohma and the young Akito Sohma in Fruits Basket, courtesy of his cousin, voice actor and director Justin Cook. He was but twelve-years-old when he voiced the role of Alphonse Elric in Full Metal Alchemist.

Since Aaron's break-out role as Al in Full Metal Alchemist, he's voiced a number of major characters including: You Takami (Deadman Wonderland), Ouri Kagami (Shikabane Hime), Kio Kakazu (Cat Planet Cuties), Hyou (Nabari no Ou), and many others. Aaron even had the chance to revisit the world of Full Metal Alchemist as he voiced Young Van Hohenheim.

CATHERINE JONES
Catherine Jones is an award winning seamstress and has been the proud owner of God Save the Queen Fashions, LLC, an Atlanta based costuming company, since 2004. Growing up as the daughter of a seamstress, she has always had a deep desire to create magic with fabric.

She studied costume design at Emory University and has done work for Theater Emory as well as Georgia Shakespeare. Upon exiting college, Catherine began doing work with nationally known Atlanta-based female impersonators, most notably the infamous Charlie Brown! She attended her first anime convention in in 2007, and has been hooked on cosplay costuming ever since! She now spends her work week creating custom costumes and wigs for anime fans, comic connoisseurs, and convention attendees alike!

MY PARENTS FAVORITE MUSIC
MPFM has been creating music since 2000 and has released 3 albums independently, with topics centered around video gaming, but span the spectrum of nerd and hip-hop culture. My Parents Favorite Music has collaborated/performed shows with Nerdcore and Video Game Music based acts such as: mc chris, MC Lars, MC Frontalot, Beefy, PEELANDER-Z, Anamanaguhi, Random aka Mega Ran, MC Router, YTCracker, The Megas, The Protomen, Brentalfloss, Action Adventure World, Shammers & Lefthand, as well as appeared in the 2008 Nerdcore hip hop documentary "Nerdcore For Life" directed by Dan Lamoureux.

Most recently MPFM launched a successful Kickstarter campaign for their soon-to-be

released album “Win When?”, which went above and beyond their initial funding goal. The album “Win When?” is scheduled to be released right around Anime Blast Chattanooga, in October or November, so we're happy to have them at our con to help celebrate their forthcoming album!
