Kita-Kon Anime & Culture Convention Announces Second Guest of Honour

THUNDER BAY, ON – December 2, 2013 – Kita-Kon is proud to announce their second
guest of honour, Leah Clark. Kita-Kon will be held August 22-24 2014 at Lakehead
University, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Leah is not only an amazing voice actress, but she is also a script writer and director at
FUNimation. Her list of anime and video game credits include; Aria the Scarlet Ammo,
Baka to Test, Deadman Wonderland, Dragon Ball Z, Eden of the East, Future Diary, Kore
wa Zombie desu ka?, Negima!?, Robotics;Notes, School Rumble, Borderlands 2, and so
much more!

She began voice acting after shamelessly begging a friend to let her accompany them to
an audition where she landed her first role as Girl B in an episode of Case Closed. She
credits the overwhelming amount of female characters in Negima!? and an odd talent for
creating sheep voices for the opportunity to play her first major role, Nodoka Miyazaki
which opened the door for several other memorable roles to follow. Leah is also a producer
and co-host of The Red Wine Therapist podcast also featuring voice actress Jad Saxton.
The show is an interactive open, raw, educational, and hilarious discussion of life, love,
wine and (ahem) other stuff.

Kita-Kon is an annual not-for-profit event that celebrates Japanese animation and culture.
It offers a place for anime and gaming fans to meet people with similar interests and to
share their passion for the anime medium. Kita-Kon 2014 will be the event's second year
hosting industry guests of honour.
