Super J-Rockers NIGHTMARE make US Debut at Anime Matsuri

The Visual Kei band straight out of our dreams NIGHTMARE celebrates over 10 years of music with their first ever American appearance at Anime Matsuri in Houston Texas. Formed over a decade ago this group has kept rank as a globally-influential and multi-talented Visual Kei act.

No strangers to being musical pioneers, Nightmares songs are featured in several anime OSTs. The series ‘Death Note’ used "The World" and “Alumina” as the opening and ending themes songs. The song “Raison detre" (translation Reason for Being) was the only theme for the full run of the series ‘Claymore’. The opening theme song for ‘Demon Detective Neuro Nōgami’ (Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro) was titled “Dirty”. Their Songs “Lost in blue” and “Naked love” were released respectively and included as themes for Mouryou's Box (Mōryō no Hako).

The bands members have proudly admitted that they all have distinct styles and varied favored musical genres. A truly an inventive sound is formed from their favored varieties of music and the result is a layering of Rock, Hip-hop, Electronica, Dub step and more. This core concept of combined styles is called Gianizm, the word was coined by the band in relation to the infamous beloved character “Gian” from the popular anime Doremon.

Their live performance will be taking place during spring break, at 8pm on March 15th, 2014, at Houston's very own state-of-the-art George R. Brown Convention Center during Anime Matsuri. To Attend Anime Matsuri and witness all the splendor of NIGHTMARE as a musical guest, VIP Superpasses, and 3-Day are now sale at https://animematsuri.com/.
