ANIREVO PROUDLY WELCOMES VOICE ACTOR LISA ORTIZ TO CANADA

VANCOUVER, BC, June 12th, 2014 - AniRevo proudly welcomes voice actor Lisa Ortiz as a guest of honour for 2014!

Lisa Ortiz's career as a voice over artist began under the shroud of an attempted auto larceny gone awry. Luckily for her, and for her sibling the perpetrator in question, the car battery died. (No seriously, her brother tried to steal her car. That's how she got into anime. Just ask her, she'll tell you). Most famous for her role as Lina Inverse (which she reprised for Slayers Evolution), and Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog. She began her career as the high elf Deedlit in Record of Lodoss War and since then she has gone on to record dozens of anime, series, audiobooks, video games, and films as well as eventually moving behind the microphone as a Producer, Director and Adapter as well as a dubbing instructor.

Her work has appeared in Film festivals as well as on television, and she can currently be heard as Fletchling in Pokémon, Oshawott in Pokémon: Black and White, Time of Eve “Rina”, Anna in Berserk, Mini in RoboCar Poli, Ogakai in Dungeon Hunter 4 and Lotus Hanazoe in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX as well as roles in Gangstar 3. Her directing and producing work includes, amongst other things, mobile games for, The Dark Night Rises, Iron Man 3, and Littlest Pet Shop. She is President of Noise of O Productions, and currently resides in NYC, with her fabulous felines Fitz and Stan, and does not own a car.
