Love Live! The School Idol Movie to Debut Worldwide in Summer

LOVE LIVE! THE SCHOOL IDOL MOVIE” TO DEBUT WORLDWIDE IN SUMMER


Tokyo, Japan, April 27, 2015 – Bandai Visual Co.,Ltd, a leader in the development and production of Japanese animation, announced today that “Love Live! The School Idol Movie”—the brand new theatrical anime of the “Love Live!franchise will be released in theaters outside of Japan starting August, 2015. The movie will begin its theatrical run on June 13th in Japan. It will then be brought to various regions and countries including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and Thailand in August, followed by screenings in the United States, Australia and New Zealand in September. Lastly, in October, it will debut in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei and Indonesia.

About Love Live! Project
It's a cross-media project that encompasses the motto "a story in which we make our dreams come true". In addition to the release of a music CD by the school idol group μ's, this project has been brought to life through various media, including live events, animation, magazines, novels, comics, mobile applications, and radio programs.
The 1st season of its TV animation series was aired in January - March 2013, followed by the 2nd season in April - June 2014. After the completion of the TV series, the production of a brand-new theatrical version of the title was announced. Love Live! The School Idol Movie is confirmed to be released in theaters on June 13, 2015 in Japan.
