TouhouCon Announces Seiyuu and “Bad Apple!!” Singer Nomico as a Guest of Honor

Villa Park, CA – April 29, 2015 – TouhouCon®, in conjunction with Attack the Music, is pleased to announce today that voice actress and singer, Nomico, will be a Guest of Honor at its September convention. TouhouCon, United States Touhou and Indie convention, is scheduled for September 18-20, 2015, at the Hilton Anaheim. She will make her US debut at TouhouCon and will be performing with Masayoshi Minoshima as well as participate in a guest panel and autograph session.

Nomico received her major debut into the anime industry by singing the ending theme song しちゃいましょう (Shichaimashou) for錬金3級まじかる?ぽか〜ん (Renkin 3-kyū Magical? Pokān) and voice actress for the character Keimie. She is popularly known for singing Masayoshi Minoshima's rendition of Touhou Project's Bad Apple!!, which was featured on Nico Nico Douga and YouTube. It has been classified as one of the most viewed videos on the Nico Nico's website. Due to its explosion in popularity, she was invited to sing at Animelo Summer Live 2010 –Evolution– at Saitama Super Arena. She sings a wide range of genres from “Moe” style to serious. Outside of singing and voice acting for anime and video games, she also likes to write, going to the movies, making sweets, and strolling.
