Mitsuhisa Ishikawa to Appear at A-Kon
20 Years of Ghosts, Ghouls, and Mechs, Mitsuhisa Ishikawa Brings Them to A-Kon
Dallas, TX - May 15, 2015 – The Anime Convention A-Kon is proud to announce their latest guest, Mitushisa Ishikawa.
Born in Tokyo in 1958, Ishikawa joined Tatsunoko Productions after graduating from college, and later established his own company Production I.G, Inc., of which he is currently the CEO and president. As a producer, he's worked on Ghost in the Shell (1995), The Origin of O-Ren from Kill Bill vol 1, Blood: The Last Vampire, as well as Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004), which was the first anime to be nominated at the Cannes International Film Festival.
