LiSA Smile Always Hi FiVE Mexico City 2016

Asia's #1 anisong princess returns to conquer Mexico, once again!

MEXICO, D.F. - June 2nd, 2016- Anisong singer LiSA will rock Mexico City once again in September, this will be the first time that LiSA has a concert in Latin-america with her band! Last year she performed in a fan meeting in Mexico City in Lunario of the Auditorio Nacional in front of 1,000 people in a special acoustic mini-live, the tickets were sold out weeks before her concert. This year LiSA returns to a bigger venue El Plaza Condesa on September 10th to celebrate her 5th Anniversary as singer and the launch of her new mini album LUCKY Hi FiVE!

LiSA is hugely popular all around the world for being the singer of several anime themes, her singles are always in the The Top Charts of Japan like the iconic “Oath Sign” from Fate/Zero, “Crossing Field” from hugely popular Sword Art Online, “Rising Hope“ (Mahouka) Shirushi and “No More Time Machine“, strengthening her popularity in both the anime and pop rock world. Her style, energy, voice and personality has conquered thousand of fans all around the world.

LiSA will have counted appearances outside Japan in 2016, and one of the chosen countries is Mexico, where she will surprise her fans and lovers of rock music with her greatest hits and new songs!

ABOUT LISA

LiSA first came to prominence through the hit anime TV series, Angel Beats! in 2010 where her vocal abilities shone through her role as the 2nd generation vocalist for the band within the series, "Girls Dead Monster." Subsequent releases under the band's name ranked high on the Oricon charts, steadily growing in popularity and fame.

The following year, LiSA made her debut as a solo artist with a mini-album in 2011 and enjoyed further success in chart performance. She's had a string of major tie-ups with anime series, including the iconic "oath sign" for the series Fate/Zero, "crossing field" for the hugely popular Sword Art Online series, and "Rising Hope" for The irregular at magic high school, strengthening her popularity in both the anime and pop rock world.

LiSA's fanbase not only continues to grow exponentially within, but also outside of Japan, having performed in Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Taipei, Shanghai, Mexico, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles, with fan bases in countries beyond as well. She made her mark in the industry with a solo concert at the legendary Budokan merely three years after her solo debut, and most recently returned to the Budokan stage in January 2015, instantly selling out 20,000 tickets over two days, solidifying her current popularity and reaffirming it by conquering on December 2015 the Makuhari Messe in Chiba selling out her largest concert ever with more than 20,000 tickets sold.

Her third studio album ”Launcher", was released on March 4th, 2015, reaching No.3 on the Japanese album chart. “Hi Five” is a mini album released on February 2016 to commemorate her fifth anniversary and is available on different streaming services. Thanks to her infectious, energetic live performances, friendly, down-to-earth disposition, and cute sense of fashion, all eyes are glued to this charismatic artist!
