Anirevo Proudly Welcomes Katsuyuki Konishi and Shizuka Itou to Canada
July 18, 2017, Vancouver, BC - This summer, Anirevo proudly welcomes voice actors Katsuyuki Konishi and Shizuka Itou to Anirevo: Summer 2017.
Katsuyuki Konishi is one of the most highly acclaimed and established voice actors in Japan, with his voice acting career spanning more than two decades. Since his debut role in 1997 as Volfogg (Gaogaigar), he has contributed to numerous anime titles, with notable roles including Kamina (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann), America and Canada (Hetalia - Axis Powers), Ren Tsuruga (Skip Beat!), Komui Lee (D. Gray Man) and Tatsumi Oga (Beelzebub), amongst many others. At the 9th Annual Seiyuu Awards held in March 2015, Katsuyuki Konishi was awarded with the Best Supporting Actor Award.
Shizuka Itou's many voice roles include Yayoi Kunizuka (Psycho-Pass), Tamaki Kousaka (To Heart 2), Minako Aino/Sailor Venus (Sailor Moon Crystal), Lenalee Lee (D. Gray Man), Irina Jelavic (Assassination Classroom), Himawari Kunogi (xxxHOLiC) and Hinagiku Katsura (Hayate the Combat Butler). In March 2016, Shizuka Itou was awarded Best Supporting Actress at the 10th Annual Seiyuu Awards.
