Azur Lane: Cross Wave Sets Sail in North America and Europe for the Playstation®4 in 2020

LOS ANGELES, CA., MAY 2, 2019 – Commanders, ready your weapons and let's get nautical! We are happy to announce that the 3D action shooter game, Azur Lane: Crosswave, will release physically and digitally for the PlayStation®4 in North America and Europe in 2020! The official website will be available at a later date.

Azur Lane, the original mobile app game released in China in 2017 for iOS and Android platforms, reached critical acclaim in China and Japan, hitting five million players within its first four months. In Azur Lane: Crosswave, the PS4 version of this game uses the Unreal Engine and recreates the beloved Azur Lane character designs in the style of cel-shaded 3D graphics!

Azur Lane: Crosswave features a multitude of your favorite commanders in a 3D light. About Azur Lane (mobile game)

Azur Lane is a side-scrolling shooter created by Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi, originally released in 2017 for iOS and Android platforms. The Shanghai-based publisher, Yostar, published the Japanese and English version of the mobile game, popularizing the game to more mobile users across the world. The game takes place in a world where personified battleships from around the globe engage in side-scrolling shooter gameplay.

Ready Your Torpedoes & Set Sail – Before you set sail, players can prepare their character units, formations, and equipment. Customizing and preparing your formation ahead of battle is crucial!

Glide & Weave – Don't just sit out there like a buoy! Prepare yourself and input your attacks! Pay close attention to aerial bombs, underwater torpedoes, and incoming projectiles. Launch and aim your torpedoes, shoot down incoming aerial attacks with your anti-air guns, and swiftly glide past any incoming missiles!
