New EP Sousaku by Yorushika Pre-Orders Open at Animate International
TOKYO JAPAN – January 14, 2021 – Sousaku, the latest EP by Yorushika, is releasing January 27, and animate International has announced that pre-orders are currently available through their global e-commerce store.
2020 saw Yorushika's 3rd album Plagiarism (Tousaku) become a hit on the charts, and the duo's popularity grew exponentially, and now they already have a new release coming this early into 2021.
Two versions of this EP are being released: Type A, which includes the CD featuring 5 tracks, and Type B, a "CD without a CD" piece of media art that consists of the empty packaging and lyrics card, designed for the digital age fan who enjoys music via subscription services, but still wants to enjoy the physical packaging that embodies Yorushika's unique asthetic.

The five tracks on this EP are spring themed: "Spring Thief", which was used in a commercial, led to a deluge of requests of a release immediately after it appeared. "Hana ni Bourei" and "Yagyou" were theme/insert songs for the movie "A Whisker Away," and "Usotsuki" played during the credits. The other included tracks are "Eat the Wind," new song "Goto to Hanataba," and instrumental piece "Sousaku."
