Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen Available Now on Steam

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen is now available on Steam, making the whole core trilogy of the popular AQUAPLUS-developed franchise available on PC.

This series of tactical RPG/visual-novel hybrids features an enthralling story, evocative art, and an exceptional soundtrack. Since originating on PC in 2002, it has given birth to several successful anime series and a variety of other spin-off media.

Prelude to the Fallen's two sequels, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, have been on Steam since 2020. Now, all three are available to PC players around the world in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.

The game is being published on PC by localizer-publisher Shiravune and Japanese giant DMM GAMES and developed as always by AQUAPLUS, with a re-polished version of the translation used previously in the console versions.

Additionally, a simultaneous update for Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth will add the new auto-save functionality introduced in this PC release of Prelude to the Fallen, along with minor improvements and fixes including typo corrections, bugfixes, adjusted auto-mode behavior, and additional controller icon support.
