Author Wataru Watari to Be Guest at Otakon 2022
Washington, D.C. (July 14, 2022) – Author Wataru Watari will be a guest at Otakon 2022, according to Otakorp Inc. His series, "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected," has been adapted into the anime series "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU."
Watari is a light novel author from Chiba prefecture of Japan. He debuted as an author by winning the third Shogakkan Light Novel Gagaga Grand Prize with "Ayakashigatari."
He has authored a number of titles, including the "Qualidea Code" series and "Girlish Number," but his most well-known work as an author is the series "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected"
He has also worked on numerous other titles as script writers and in other roles, such as "Domestic Girlfriend," "GETUP! GETLIVE!," "The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent" series, and "Isekai Yakkyoku."
Otakon will be held from July 29-31 in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
