NAQT VANE is a team-up project that aims to “create an uplifting tailwind to guide those who have a challenger spirit”. The group features vocalist Harukaze, who spent eight years experiencing life and culture overseas before returning to Japan, alongside overall producer Hiroyuki Sawano, with artwork by Classic 6. The group are dedicated to reaching everyone who lives in the era of the wind – a flexible world rich in freedom and diversity, with a lifestyle unbound by material things or status. The members hope to breathe a wind of change, building their own space where new stories can shine.

As NAQT VANE's third single, ‘TOUCH’ is a heartbreak song that depicts a burning love, a dangerous love, where a multitude of emotions entangle and explode in a deep sound. The song is also the ending theme for the drama series ‘Yakuza Lover’, which is currently streaming around the world on Disney Plus.

A music video for ‘TOUCH’ has also been released. Created by Classic 6, the video unfolds in a dramatically lit supermarket and features an intense performance by vocalist Harukaze.

Sawano, NAQT VANE's overall producer, recently provided the song ‘Tot Musica’ for solo artist Ado, which was used in the hit movie ‘ONE PIECE FILM RED’. Sawano has a strong fan base in North America, Europe and Asia, which he has built up through his work on numerous anime productions, along with his success as a solo artist that led to a headline performance at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai in 2019. Vocalist Harukaze, meanwhile, is fluent in English and has tried her hand at a wide range of musical activity, such as performing as the opener for Callum Scott's first ever concert in Japan. When NAQT VANE inevitably begin to tour, it seems likely they will reach regions across the world.

Following their debut in September with ‘Break Free’, NAQT VANE are planning a steady stream of new material, so look out for future announcements. Stay glued to the group's official social media accounts (https://bio.to/NAQTVANE) for more.
