Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space Releases Main Story Part 3 into The Hollow "The Chronos Empire Strikes Back" Volume 1

TOKYO – Feb. 24, 2023 – Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, the adventure JRPG that crosses time and space, launches Version 3.0.100 today, featuring Main Story Part 3 Into The Hollow “The Chronos Empire Strikes Back” Volume 1.

◆Main Story

◆New Systems
・Environmental Effects
Certain fields have Environmental effects that can change over time.
Environments not only affect the Field, but they can have various effects in battle too.
Active Environmental effects can be checked when first entering a Field or at any time on the Minimap.
・Phase Shift
Occasionally, a Field under an Environmental effect will generate an entrance to a Phase Shift.
A Phase Shift area contains special battles, and may be under even more severe Environmental Effects.
Players will receive more of certain items by braving these warps, but after a certain number of battle turns have passed, players will be ejected.
・Ship
Vehicles can be used to travel through special fields. Unlike regular fields, movement is unbounded.
A special icon will show where players can embark from.
While traveling in a vehicle, tap the vehicle to transition to the vehicle's interior areas.
◆New Battle System
・Sidekicks
Sidekicks are characters' friends and allies, or even traveling partners or other companions.
Add a Sidekick to the party and the Sidekick assists the party in battle.
Sidekicks will use skills in battle with set timing. These Auto Skills will also build up Charge.
5★ Sidekicks have special Skills called Charge Skills. Once the Sidekick has enough Charge saved up, the Charge Skill can be activated on the Sidekick's turn.
Players can obtain Sidekicks by Encountering certain 5★ class and style characters in the Gallery of Dreams; by class changing to a specific 5★ class; or by clearing special events.
Sidekicks can be equipped with Sidekick-specific equipment.
・Auras
Auras are abilities that activate when certain conditions are fulfilled in battle.
Some enemies and Sidekicks have Auras. Activation conditions and effects differ depending on the type of Aura.
Many Auras affect units other than the user, so even units without Auras can benefit.
Once an Aura's conditions are fulfilled, it will last the rest of the battle. However, if an Aura's caster is defeated, the Aura will fade.
◆Other New Features
・Difficulty Settings
In Main Story Part 3, players can adjust battle difficulty settings.
The difficulty can be adjusted at any time.
Higher difficulties will bring stronger monsters, but also higher experience gains and drop chance for certain items.
*Some enemies' difficulty rating is fixed.
・Symbol Encounters
In Main Story Part 3, enemies (other than Horrors) will be shown on the field, and a battle will begin by running into them.
*Some special enemies can engage the party without touching them.
Enemy symbols will disappear by defeating them, but they'll come back when the area is reloaded.
◆Encounters
・Ally Encounter Minalca (Tetra)... New Character Minalca and New Sidekick Tetra are available.
*New Sidekick Tetra will join when Minalca's 5★ class "Nemesis" is unlocked.
・Star Dream Encounter is available. (Paid, 1 Time Only)
*In the Star Dream Encounter, after the 10 ally Encounter, a Star Dreams Piece that can encounter a 5-star class character will be given.
*The characters that are encounterable in the Star Dream Encounter and Star Dreams Piece Encounter are only those released as of Version 2.13.100 Apocrypha: Wanderer in the Vortex Chapter 1: The Road to Thunder. Characters added in later versions will be unavailable.
・Fateful Encounter is available. (Paid, 3 Times Max)
・Fateful Encounter Great Strides Edition is available. (Paid, 2 Times Max)
*Players can encounter one of the 5★ class characters on the tenth encounter. Please see the in-game Notice for details.
◆Campaign Information
・By starting a new section of the Main Story (Part 2 onward), a Resonant Strife Drop (5★ Guaranteed) will be given; by clearing a new section (Part 2 onward), Chronos Stone x1,000 will be given.
▼Resonant Strife Drop
Players will encounter a random 5★ class character specialized in Zone or Singing skills that was available up to Version 2.11.700.
*Players cannot select the character to encounter using the Resonant Strife Drop.
*Conditions fulfilled before the version 3.0.100 update will not reward a Resonant Strife Drop.

・Whisper of Time + Whisper of Time Drop Campaign
The corresponding encounter is accessible once a day during the campaign by using the Whisper of Time (Max 10 times). Then, each time when initiating the Whisper of Time encounter, a Whisper of Time Drop will be received. Once 10 Whisper of Time Drops are collected, a Whisper of Time Drop encounter (1 time only, 5★ class guaranteed) can be initiated.
