Arc System Works Reveals the "Twin Barrel Beauty" Kaguya for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes

Torrance, Calif. – Sept. 14, 2023 – Arc System Works America, Inc. announced the latest playable character joining the roster of the highly-anticipated sequel, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes.
The new character Kaguya the "Twin Barrel Beauty" joins the battle under the dark veil by keeping her opponents at a distance with long-reaching attacks and projectiles, while also harassing them with tricky and deceptive movements. Due to her exceptional combat prowess, Licht Kreis sends Kaguya on various missions all over the world. Her next destination? Japan, where her best friend Orie is currently stationed. Kaguya discovers that many other Licht Kreis commanding officers are gathered there, too, and becomes even more determined to protect her friends and the world.
Fans attending Tokyo Game Show 2023 next week will be among the very first to experience Kaguya by stopping by the Arc System Works booth for a hands-on playable demo. Additionally, Mami Ozaki, the voice actress for Kaguya, will be appearing at the UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes new game announcement event stage, which begins at 11 a.m. JST on Thursday, Sept. 21 / 6 p.m. PT Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Created in collaboration with developer French-Bread, the game will feature the final chapter in the “Hollow Night” storyline that began with the original series release over a decade ago. UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes arrives in 2024 on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, and Steam®.
As a light novel-style action fighting game, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes brings a fully original addition to the fight game genre, weaving a climactic tale of surviving the Hollow Night and dueling powerful foes accented by fantastic visual environments, 21 returning characters and new In-Births joining to bolster an already potent roster, and compelling background music.
