Crunchyroll Night of Live Music Lights Up Anime NYC with Unforgettable One-Night Concert

Crunchyroll Welcomes Cö shu Nie, Hiroyuki SAWANO, SennaRin and Survive Said The Prophet for an Unmissable Night of Electric Performances

Culver City, California (Oct. 31, 2023) – Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, is proud to welcome artists Cö shu Nie, Hiroyuki SAWANO, SennaRin, and Survive Said The Prophet for Crunchyroll Night of Live Music - an unmissable one-night concert during Anime NYC, the largest anime convention on the east coast.

Crunchyroll Night of Live Music will be held at the Crunchyroll Stage on Saturday, November 18th, featuring hit Sony Music Entertainment Japan artists who have worked on or contributed to fan-favorite anime series. Cö shu Nie is an experimental rock band featured in Tokyo Ghoul : re., PSYCHO-PASS and The Promised Neverland, and is known for their single “Give It Back,” the ending theme for the first season of JUJUTSU KAISEN. Hiroyuki SAWANO is a renowned Japanese composer, arranger, lyricist, pianist and music producer behind the scores for Attack on Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins, Blue Exorcist, among many others. Also featured is SennaRin, a multi-talented singer who has created many musical pieces for series including Dragon Raja, Legend of the Galactic Heroes and BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood War, just to name a few. Survive Said The Prophet, commonly known as “SABAPURO”, is an international rock band and is well known for their hit single “MUKANJYO,” the first opening for VINLAND SAGA. The concert will be free for all Anime NYC badge holders.*

About Hiroyuki SAWANO
Hiroyuki SAWANO mainly writes music for visual purposes, such as dramas, anime, and movies. He is a vigorous worker who also writes and arranges songs for other artists. He launched SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] (pronounced "Sawano Hiroyuki nu-zeek") in spring 2014, a project mainly focusing on vocal-oriented tunes.

About SennaRin
SennaRin, who intrigues people with her distinct, deep and throaty voice, is a multi-talented singer who also writes lyrics and creates illustrations. She made her major debut on April 13, 2022 with the EP “Dignified”, produced by composer Hiroyuki Sawano, who has created many musical pieces of popular works such as the anime “Attack on Titan” and “Mobile Suit Gundam UC” to name a few. She sang the theme songs for “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These – Collision” and “BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War”.

Survive Said The Prophet, commonly known as “SABAPURO”, was formed in Tokyo, Japan in 2011. As a native English speaker / bilingual vocalist, Yosh leads the band with his overwhelming singing ability and charisma. SABAPURO is a miraculous international rock band that consists of talented musicians and unique personalities. Their outstanding musicality is based on their vast musical backgrounds, including but not limited to rock, pop, electro, hip hop, and R&B. to place their field of activities in various fields using its diversity as a weapon that doesn't fit in the frame of an existing scene and continues to evolve every day.

Cö shu Nie is an experimental rock band from Japan. Members Miku Nakamura (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards, Manipulator) and Shunsuke Matsumoto (Bass), combine crisp vocals and chaotic sounds. They draw from varied influences to create a unique blend of jazz, R&B and electro pop-inspired experimental rock. The band was known on the indie scene but found global success in 2018, when their song 'asphyxia' was selected by renowned manga artist, Sui Ishida, for the opening theme song to his series 'Tokyo Ghoul : re.'
