NEW YORK, NY (January 26, 2024) – Milan Records today releases METALLIC ROUGE (ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK) with music by Taisei Iwasaki, yuma yamaguchi and Towa Tei. Available everywhere now, the album features original music written by Iwasaki, yamaguchi and Tei for studio BONES' new sci-fi action anime series. Included alongside the album's score tracks are original vocal songs featuring artists including Rich DiMare, Toft Willingham, Lanux, Celeina Ann and Mizuki Kamata. Directed by Motonobu Hori, Metallic Rouge is available to stream in the US exclusively via Crunchyroll.

ABOUT METALLIC ROUGE
In a world where humans coexist with androids called Neans, a group known as the Immortal Nine rises up against society. Tasked with disposing of the revolters, a Nean named Rouge Redstar (aka Metal Rouge) and investigator Naomi Orthmann head to Mars to track them down…but first, Rouge wants some chocolate.

ABOUT TAISEI IWASAKI
Taisei Iwasaki is a composer of movies, series and animations. His most notable works include the soundtracks to “BELLE”, Studio Ghibli's “Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo”, Animation “Blood Blockade Battlefront, (a.k.a Kekkai Sensen)”, ”Spriggan”, “Dragon Pilot” (a.k.a Hisone & Masotan), “GHOST IN THE SHELL” (directed by Rupert Sanders) *JAPANESE MUSIC DIRECTOR, Netflix Original Series “The Naked Director”, “First Love”. Additionally, Taisei Iwasaki has worked on “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” with John Cameron Mitchell in Japan as music director. His work for “Belle” won the 45th Japanese Academy Award for “Music of the year” and won the 36th Japan Gold Disc Awards “Soundtrack album of the Year”

ABOUT yuma yamaguchi
yuma yamaguchi is known as a composer for movies, dramas, animation, and commercials in Japan. He started his career at IRMA Records in 2008, and his first album "Sound Multiply" was selected as iTunes 2008 best dance album in Japan. From 2016, he has an exclusive contract with YUGE inc. which is a music production company specialized in soundtracks and advertisement music in Japan. He has been writing music for more than 300 campaigns including many globally known companies such as Google, Microsoft, Toyota, Coca Cola, McDonald, and Bose. Some of his works are known worldwide such as "Mewton feat. Haru" for PS4 game, Gravity Rush 2's advertisement which received many international awards including Cannes Lions, One Show, and Clio Awards. Also, he has composed music for movies and drama series which were released internationally such as “Undead Girl Murder Farce(2023)”, "Link Click (2021) ", "The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window” (2021)", "Flavors of youth(2018)", and "Goodbye, Grandpa! (2017)”. Recent works also include the music for two time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu's “Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY2023 “GIFT” at Tokyo Dome” and “PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE 30 years anniversary”. He started his new project “NotANArtist” in 2021 where he focuses on his original music with unique approaches which he developed through his prolific composing for soundtracks and advertisement works. 

ABOUT TOWA TEI
In 1990, he made his US debut as a member of Deee-Lite with the album World Clique. Currently, he has 12 solo albums, three under his Sweet Robots Against the Machine name, and an album with METAFIVE. Additionally, from September 2013 to the present, he has been supervising the in-store music at INTERSECT BY LEXUS -TOKYO in Aoyama, Tokyo. He was in charge of the music for the NHK documentary program Yayoi Kusama My Eternal Soul. In 2018, he planned and supervised the design of YMO's 40th anniversary album Neue Tanz. In 2019, he was in charge of the key visual for Haruomi Hosono's 50th anniversary documentary film NO SMOKING and in 2021, SAYONARA AMERICA with Tomoo Gokita, and also worked together on the art direction of Yukihiro Takahashi's best album GRAND ESPOIR. He is in charge of the soundtrack for the Netflix-produced anime SUPER CROOKS. Following the overseas release of their 10th LP, 2021 ended with the release of EP. In 2022, he was in charge of the album lead track "REFLECTION (feat. Kaho Nakamura) [TOWA TEI REMIX]" in the tofubeats remix collection REFLECTION REMIXES. On September 6th, 2023, his first full-length instrumental solo album ZOUNDTRACKS and the sequel to his previous LP TOUCH were released simultaneously.
