Bandai Namco Music Live Launches 'MoooD Records'

A new label that connects the world through the circle of music to make dreams come true

Bandai Namco Music Live Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yoshitaka Tao, President) has launched a new label called MoooD Records, aiming for smash-hits on a global level.

Bandai Namco Music Live already manages various labels such as Lantis, which produces music related to anime, and Kiramune, a label for talented male voice actor artists. With the evolving definition of “anime songs” and the surging global popularity of Japanese anime, we have launched the new label MoooD Records. This label stems from our desire to connect dreams to reality not only in Japan but also worldwide through the circle of music. (The “ooo” in “MoooD” represents interconnected circles of music.)

The label will boast a lineup of talented artists who are expected to make waves on the global stage, starting with the “Samurai Guitarist'' MIYAVI, who has already captivated audiences worldwide and serves as the first Japanese goodwill ambassador for the UNHCR, and ASH DA HERO, a mixture rock band whose second cour intro theme song “Judgement” for the TV anime Blue Lock has garnered over 15 million views. More artists with the potential for global success will be added to the label in the coming future. Please stay tuned for future releases from MoooD Records!

MIYAVI
MIYAVI has gained worldwide attention as a guitarist for his unconventional “slap guitar” style, in which he plays the electric guitar with his fingers instead of a pick. He has performed more than 380 live shows in 30 some countries, and has 9 successful world tours under his belt. Other accomplishments include performing the national anthem at the Dodger Stadium in the US, delivering the opening performance at the National Stadium during the visit of the Paris Saint-Germain soccer team to Japan, and providing music and halftime performances for the NBA's Golden State Warriors.

ASH DA HERO
Formed by ASH (Vo.), Narukaze (Gt.), Sato (Ba.), WANI (Dr.), and Dhalsim (DJ), this five-member band creates music rooted in rock, punk, and hip hop, expressed through a versatile style. ASH's vocal strength and the band's collective, overwhelming live performances are a must-see. This is a new era mixture rock band where five talents have fatefully converged.
